We have a 3 1/2 year old Congo African Grey who has been on a seed/pellet diet since we brought her home as a baby.
We were very concerned about her getting the right nutrition and we came across your product (Caribbean Crunch). Since I cooked up the first batch, she hasn't taken her head out of her feeding dish.
When I get up in the morning, she bangs on her bowl with her beak as if to say "Feed me more, I LOVE THIS STUFF!" We haven't tried the Cheese Teaser yet, but Smokie can't wait.
Last March we rescued Shawnie, our 13 year old CAG from the Pittsburgh Parrot Rescue. Her previous owner had passed and Shawnie was left homeless and was very upset. When we first met Shawnie, she did not talk at all. In fact, she didn't even whistle and she was very, very shy!! (The only sound she would make was a growl if you got too close.) We have given her lots and lots of love and now she's learning to talk, sing, and she loves to whistle.
As for her diet, Shawn LOVED nuts, would pick at her pellets and was very resistant to any other diet. She would fling any other food that I gave her out of her bowl. Well, recently I came across Beak Appetit and what an awesome product! Shawnie loves it. I layer it over top of her pellets and nuts and she can't get enough.
We love our bird and we are so happy to find a product to help complete her diet-- even better a product she loves, too!

My African Grey has been very ill for the past 6 months with heavy metal toxicity. He has not gained weight and my veterinarian informed me that he probably would not survive. I tried your Caribbean Crunch and he loves it! My bird is now gaining weight, (20 grams), and he is doing much better. Thank you so much for your wonderful food.
